Diana Matos is an Emmy-nominated Director of Photography based in New York, with over 20 years of experience across feature films, television, and documentaries. She rose through the ranks of the IATSE Local 600 camera department in New York City, working on major productions such as The Amazing Spider-Man, Creed, and A Most Violent Year.

As a lead cinematographer, Matos is known for her work on Netflix’s NEON, a Hulu action-comedy named Miguel Wants to Fight, and the critically acclaimed film Jane. Her documentary expertise earned her a Sports Emmy nomination for the Peacock series Golden: Journey of USA’s Elite Gymnasts, and more recently, for Amazon Prime’s The Money Game. In 2019, she worked on the Golden Globe award-winning film The Farewell as the New York Unit Cinematographer.

A participant in the prestigious ASC Mentoring Program, Matos is an advocate for female and Latinx representation in the industry. Her work has been featured at major festivals, including Sundance, the New York Latino Film Festival, and the Los Angeles Latino Film Festival.
